Stranded in Houston and the duration remains TBD. Silver is off the road in Ennis for major mechanical surgery and BIG DRAIN on the financial situation. So far, no thoughts are solidifying for suicide OR a homicide. Afterall, it IS Family and it HAS BEEN now over three (3) days.

I am hoping Tuesday or Wednesday for a final departure as I am LONGING to set foot in the cloud again REAL BAD. I spoke to the dealership in Ennis and the parts have been ordered and the tech (singular) had it lined up & scheduled to begin WHEN THE PARTS COME IN so once again, WHO KNOWS ?

SO WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN DOING IN THE MEANTIME ?

Simply having some fun & enjoying Family & the little ones. FBNextGen is a little whirlwind capable of emotional episodes and which, thanks to Grandpa’s extended parenting experience and ‘zero tolerance’ approach to such child manuevering, fails to gain any traction and therefore nipped right in the bud.

Think of it as when the whining starts, the gloves drop and things STOP. Everything STOPS, issue is addressed and Parent trumps child. End of story. DO NOT ARGUE, topic NOT subject to discussion or ANY debate and case CLOSED.

Little Mikey aka GS1 or NextGen dos, smiles altogether too much. At the restaurant he is snagging thee hottest chicks and acting like there is nothing to it and I hate him for it. In fact, even with a diaper full of poop he is altogether too happy & still grins as if he had eaten the canary TWICE this week.

So this morning we sit in front of the telly watching the Today show and lamenting poor Matt Lauer. I am starting to see why maybe he left. Follow me on this. Surrounded by a flock of babling, gaggling, politically correct females nudging EVERYONE WATCHING to their respective facebook pages, he simply had enough, couldn’t stand it any longer and simply discovered the easiest and most manly way out. Get caught with the ‘old hand in the cookie jar’ trick as Max Smart would say.

Must, MUST MUST call on Silver early and get latest status on Silver. I mean it is nice here but I did NOT pack the ruby slippers this trip and need to get home.
