Fr10A

Good Friday and a significant date on the Liturgical calendar and therefore will ALWAYS remain on the new calendar according to Bill.

Very early Friday morning because there is SO MUCH to do and only 24 more hours to get it all done.

I couldn't sleep and realistically I know you know I know that I can’t ‘get it all done’ today but a full bore, frontal attack will or IS now underway and generated to make as much happen as possible.

Early up, early out or as B Franklin (Ben …, NOT Bonnie) once said early to rise, the chicken or early bird gets the toast. (?)

The coffee is now ready.

WHAT KIND IS IT TODAY?

Great question with the Holiday and all.

However even tho there is faire la fête, keeping things towards the somber and solemn side of the scale, the simple every day Lavazza is café du jour.

It is nice piping hot and with the door to the back deck open birds unidentified sing in the moonlight.

So I am only slightly behind on posts here as another report from For Ate is in the can but will be posted concurrently saving AND consolidating bandwidth.

MFAQ is how are you holding up during the ‘shelter in place’ exercise?

Why Thank you for asking and short answer is ‘splendidly.’

Started a new read discovered in the library. It looks like a newer book but lost the colored dust jacket cover over time. WWII fiction but I happened to look up one of the mentioned characters and some of the names of the people ARE real. Starting with OSS founder and leader William Donovan, an amazing story in and by itself. (google search William J Donovan should you be in doubt or have q's)

On the same foray into my personal library, I discovered a small paperback by Aristotle that is next or near future to read. Title The Nicomachean Ethics. Not sure exactly what it is about but it is a (Oxford) classic, he was a Greek and Thomas Jefferson studied the ancient Greeks so there is apparently something there and I am aiming to find out and will report back my findings and recommendations here in this vehicle.

I also ordered and now possess Raven Rock thru local Barnes & Noble in a longer than necessary story dealing with pandemic precautions and protocols. Here is how it happened and I came to own this book.

First I check online at amazon and bustorama (nada).

Actually it seemed out of print OR censored as there were no new copies for sale directly. Yellow caution flag goes up.

Perusing and scrolling ‘by price’, one copy was nearly $50 which was most likely either a first edition or signed copy possibly both. Needlessly, I didn’t even look for I didn't care.

Somehow, probably via a ‘hot link’, I ended up at the B&N site (BN.com) and another link to ‘call’ which I did AFTER seeing they had stock on shelf and at a price that was reasonable. I wanted to pick it up and have it on hand you see (uc).

On calling, I spoke to a charming young lady and simply no reading or registration on the flirt index because she was EXTREMELY busy.

At any rate, I got the ‘curbside’ protocol which BTW are becoming more prevalent and the norm for those places wanting, desiring and wishing this hoax would end and get back to SOME 'normal' level of business activity.

I drove over to Frisco and the Stonebridge Mall and after some difficulty located the store and there was a young lady holding MY BOOK. I think I stopped rolling just long enough to get the book and immediately upon returning home wiped it off and hand-sanitized to be perfectly ‘safe’.

In case your wondering, no symptoms yet.

OK so that’s all you deserve today.

The sky is lightening, the moon is slipping behind Roger’s house, the cup is empty of coffee.

I could go on with this fascinating account as you well know by now however will save more of the same for next time.

IN THE MEANTIME, send donations, tips or gratuities for continuing reports from the edge or front line of Toiletpapergate.

Happy Easter.

He will Rise on Sunday.
